PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and an image processing program for precisely extracting postscript section (postscript information) from an original after postscript even when the deviation value or deviation direction of an image is different according to the place on a paper original since the fading of characters or the disconnection of lines is generated, or postscript extraction omission is generated due to the substraction of the expansion processing image of a pre-postscript original from the image of a post-postscript original and excessive substraction in the expanded section in difference extraction processing using an expansion substraction method. SOLUTION: In postscript information extraction processing (difference extraction processing) for extracting postscript information from a post-postscript image by calculating a difference between the pre-postscript image and post-postscript image, the positioning of the image is operated to a whole original by a whole position/distortion correction part 101 prior to the comparison of those images, and then rough difference information is acquired by a difference extraction part 102. Then, local positioning is operated by a division image position/distortion correction part 105 based on the difference information, and the difference processing is operated, and the difference is extracted as postscript information by a postscript information extraction part 106.
