PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle drive unit capable of suppressing a forward tilting amount of a motor even at sudden braking of a vehicle or the like.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle drive unit 1 includes: a motor 3 mounted on a vehicle; a power conversion part 5 for converting electric power from a power supply with a plurality of components and outputting electric power to be supplied to the motor 3. The power conversion part 5 is disposed on an outer-peripheral top of the motor 3, and a smoothing capacitor 23 having a large mass, of a plurality of components of the power conversion part 5, is disposed in parallel to other components and on vehicle rear side of the motor 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
