PURPOSE: To provide a water purifier which is able to set the temperature of filtered water, thereby providing hot water and cold water having a wide range of temperature desired by users. CONSTITUTION: The water purifier comprises a filter part (110) which removes impurities from water, a water tank (120) which stores filtered water, a cooling tank (130) which cools down the temperature of the filtered water, a heating tank (160) which increases the temperature of the filtered water, a first temperature detection sensor part (150) which generates an electrical signal corresponding to a temperature of cold water produced by the cooling tank, a second temperature detection sensor part (180) which generates an electrical signal corresponding to a temperature of hot water produced by the heating tank, a key input part (190) which generates a key signal corresponding to determined temperature of the hot water or the cold water, a memory part (200) which stores the determined temperature, a central processing part (210) which compares present water temperature transmitted from the first temperature detection sensor part and the second temperature detection sensor part with the determined temperature stored at the memory part to generate a current control signal for adjusting the present water temperature to the determined temperature, a power source part (220) which supplies current to the cooling tank and the heating tank, and current control part which controls the current amount supplied from the power source part to the cooling tank and the heating tank in accordance with the current control signal.
