PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic case preventing a loss of a protective sheet, preventing cosmetics and the like from falling outside the case in making up and preventing the protective sheet from falling onto the upper surface of a case body. SOLUTION: This cosmetic case 1 is provided with the case body 2 storing the cosmetics, a lid body 3 and the protective sheet 5 covering the upper surface of the case body 2. The protective sheet 5 is folded at a fold line 5c, divided into a protective part 5a covering the upper surface of the case body 2 and a support part 5b supported to the case body 2 by the fold line 5c, and provided with a locking piece 5d on one side of the protective part 5a by a cut adjoining the fold line 5c. The protective part 5a is erected from the upper surface of the case body 2 around the fold line 5c so that the locking piece 5d is locked to a locking recess 2e formed in a circumferential wall 2d of the case body 2 to stand independently.
