PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact belt tensioning device capable of being easily manufactured by a simple method and being easily mounted.SOLUTION: A belt tensioning device includes a base member 3 having a mounting part 9 and an opening for a drive shaft, first and second tensioning arms 4, 6 rotatably supported by first and second bearings on first and second pivot shafts A5, A7 on the base member 3, and having first and second tensioning rollers 5,7, and a spring array 8 for pulling two tensioning arms 4, 6 toward each other in the circumferential direction, and the spring array 8 has at least one coach spring 25, 25' having a circumferential extension range less than 360° with the first and second pivot shafts A4, A6 as centers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
