An apparatus for determining an implant orientation of a donor cornea lens in a receiving stromal bed includes: a lighting device (3), configured to send a first light beam (Fl) to a donor cornea lens (12) to be implanted in a receiving stromal bed of a patient, when the lens (12) is in an observation seat (11); a light intensity detector device (6), arranged so as to intercept a second light beam (F2), transmitted through the donor cornea lens (12); a control unit (8) coupled with the light intensity detector device (6) and configured to acquire a plurality of light intensity values corresponding to respective orientations of the donor cornea lens (12) and to determine an implant orientation of the donor cornea lens (12) as a function of the acquired light intensity values.
