PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device which can be restored automatically to an original state without performing disassembly, adjustment, changing parts, or the like even when impact and vibration are applied and engagement of a guide groove of a disk tray and a slider boss is slipped out. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a vertical groove part 211 having a disk tray, a traverse chassis, a cam slider 3 elevating the traverse chassis, and a drive gear 11 transmitting drive force to the disk tray and the cam slider 3, and a vertical groove 211 being along a sliding direction of the disk tray, a transverse groove part 213 being orthogonal to the sliding direction, and an oblique groove part 212 coupling the vertical groove part 211 and the transverse groove part 213, an opening part 230 being divided is formed at the vertical groove 211, and the opening part 230 is formed at a position at which the slider boss 31 of the cam slider can be passed through when the disk tray is slid to this side.
