For the purpose of improving efficiency a home appliance device, in particular a home appliance chiller device, is proposed, comprising: a refrigerant cycle (10) having a heat generating unit (12); a machine compartment (14) having a first sub-compartment (16) and a second sub-compartment (18) separated from the first sub-compartment (16), the second sub-compartment (18) being configured for at least partly receiving the heat generating unit (12); and an airflow unit (20) configured for conveying air from the first sub-compartment (16) to the second sub-compartment (18) such that, in operation, the second sub-compartment (18) is kept at least substantially warmer than the first sub- compartment (16). |
