PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize away-back of a vehicle body by securely reducing vibration of the vehicle body in the longitudinal direction generated at the time of stopping a vehicle until the vehicle stops. SOLUTION: This running controller 1 is provided with a controller 10 which detects vehicle speed with a vehicle speed sensor 7, detects the acceleration and deceleration of a vehicle with a G sensor 14, compute target acceleration and deceleration X based on the information from the vehicle speed sensor 7 and the G sensor 14, and controls a throttle device 21 or a brake device 22 to adjust vehicle speed, wherein control by the G sensor 14 is switched to brake control based on vehicle speed when the vehicle is at a prescribed speed Vsw for stopping.
