PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a vibration control device which inhibits vibration of a traveling railway vehicle and detects a load exerted on the traveling railway vehicle.SOLUTION: When a load is exerted on a vibration control device, a rubber part 11 formed by a rubber member 11A and a rubber member 11B is compressed in a load exerted direction. The rubber member 11A, which contacts with an electrode part 14A of a piezoelectric sensor 13, is foam rubber and does not expand in a direction perpendicular to the load exerted direction even when compressed in the load exerted direction. Thus, even if the load is exerted on the vibration control device, a contact area 11a of the rubber member 11A, which contacts with the piezoelectric sensor 13, does not move in the direction perpendicular to the load exerted direction and a tensile force is not exerted on the piezoelectric sensor 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
