Sun blind system for sunroof

The system has a spring steel band guided in a guide rail (14) in sections, where the band includes an end that is situated outside the guide rail and contracts to a roller blind coil. A roller blind (10) is attached to the spring steel band, and a compensation spring e.g. tension spring, acts on the coil. The compensation spring exerts a frictional force on the coil that is dependent on the diameter of the coil, where the compensation spring acts on the spring steel band in a longitudinal direction of the guide rail. The spring steel band extends through the guide rail.
