PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain considerable supporting ridigity and load capacity for bearing heavy cutting. SOLUTION: Plate springs 21 and 22 prevent the displacement of a movable sleeve member 7 in its diameter direction by strong rigidity, and also make the member 7 free from the movement in its axial direction by a bending property, and be supported by a housing 1. Consequently when a main shaft 2 is thermally expanded due to the heating of a motor and so on, the member 7 smoothly moves in the axial direction together with the shaft 2, to prevent hindrance due to the thermal expansion. The smooth movement of the member 7 in the axial direction as mentioned above gives the proper pre-load as design to a rolling bearing 4 by a pre-pressure spring 9.
