PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe installation method with which such a supporting as to extend while being bent underground can be constructed inexpensively, and pipes or the like used for the method.SOLUTION: According to the pipe installation method, when successively installing underground 10 a plurality of pipes 2 each having a rectangular cross section and a straight centerline, an opening edge 2x of a rear end of the forward pipe 2 and an opening edge 2y of a front end of the backward pipe 2 are connected. As the pipe 2, by using the pipe 2 with trapezoidal sidewalls where a pair of sidewalls 2a, 2a of one of the pipes facing each other in parallel are formed in a combined trapezoidal shape and side edges 2s, 2s in parallel with each other of each trapezoid are parallel with the centerline of the pipe, the plurality of pipes 2, 2... are installed underground 10 in such a manner that a forward moving trajectory 2Z of the pipe 2 underground 10 becomes a curved shape. |
