A character pattern of a portable phone keypad is provided to display alphabets and Hangul symbols which a portable phone user uses frequently, thereby enabling the user or presbyope to accurately input characters in a dark place. A sticker in which one key pattern enlarging an alphabet is printed is adhered to a keypad, a cover in which the key pattern is printed covers the keypad, or the alphabet of a keypad pattern is largely printed, engraved, recorded or added. A sticker in which one key pattern for enlarging a Hangul symbol is printed is adhered to a keypad, a cover in which the key pattern enlarging the Hangul symbol is printed covers the keypad, or the Hangul symbol of a keypad pattern is largely printed, engraved, recorded or added when manufacturing a portable phone.
