PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information input device for enabling a user to easily input information in content in which a link or the like is not set in advance.SOLUTION: When a user touches a medium in which content is printed together with a dot pattern and a display in which the content is displayed with a scanner 4, a document ID and XY-coordinate values of a touch position are read. The content is prepared as DTP data in advance. DTP data corresponding to the read document ID is selected form a plurality of pieces of DTP data. A coordinate conversion part 30 converts the XY-coordinate values into xy-coordinate values on the DTP data. A specific information selection part 40 performs syntactic analysis and image analysis in the DTP data, and recognizes an element indicated by the user in the DTP data as input from the xy-coordinate values at the touch position by prescribed algorithm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
