PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible flat cable excellent in shielding performance with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This flexible flat cable 1 is equipped with an insulating conductor 5 in which an insulating layer 3 and an adhesive layer 4 are disposed one over the other in order on the periphery of a longitudinal first flat type conductor 2 in its cross-sectional direction, a grounding conductor 7 comprising a longitudinal second flat type conductor 6, and an insulating tape 10 formed by pasting a resin tape and a metal tape together. The insulating conductor and the grounding conductor are disposed side by side at prescribed intervals in their width direction, and are laminated by being held between the insulating tapes having the metal tapes on the insides in their thickness direction. As to the longitudinal end parts of the first flat type conductor and the second flat type conductor, their prescribed lengths are exposed to the outside of the insulating tape.
