The roller has an axially extending groove (2) for receiving a knife or perforated blade (4) that is arranged in a strip (3). The strip is arranged in the groove, and includes a stopper (5) for a radial position of the knife or perforated blade. A plate spring (7) is provided for spring-elastic suspension of the strip in the groove to adjust a cutting oversize of the knife or perforated blade. The spring-elastic suspension of the strip ensures a spring travel of the strip corresponding to the adjusted cutting oversize of the knife or perforated blade. An independent claim is also included for a cutting and perforating device comprising a cutting roller.
