<p>A communication device includes a communication unit, an earthquake information calculating unit for receiving an emergency earthquake report by using the communication unit, a control unit for forcedly cutting the telephone line if an emergency earthquake report is received while the telephone line is connected, and a cutting reason reporting unit for transmitting the cutting reason information presenting the cutting reason to the communication party with which the communication device has been communicating if the telephone line is forcedly cut because of the reception of the emergency earthquake report. The cutting reason reporting unit references association information about the telephone numbers and the e-mail addresses associated with the telephone numbers and thereby acquiring the e-mail address associated with the telephone number to which the telephone line is forcedly cut, the cutting reason reporting unit generates an e-mail containing a message of the cutting reason and sends the e-mail to the acquired e-mail address.</p> |
