摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrophoretic display device, and the electrophoretic display device high in manufacturing efficiency while preventing dispersion in the degree of electrical conduction for every device. SOLUTION: A predetermined part out of a second substrate is provided removably from a part other than the predetermined part of the second substrate, and a face, facing a first substrate, of the predetermined part of the second substrate is provided with an adhesive layer for bonding an electrophoretic material layer. The adhesive layer is bonded to the electrophoretic material layer when laminating the first substrate and the second substrate. When carrying out electrical connection between a first electrode and the second substrate, the predetermined part of the second substrate is first removed from the part other than the predetermined part. The part, bonded to the adhesive layer, of the electrophoretic material layer is thereby peeled to expose the first electrode, and the exposed part of the first electrode is connected to the second substrate by a conductive member.
