<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a crimp part from cracking with bending deformation. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal metal fitting T is formed by integrally forming an open barrel shaped crimp part 11 on a base end part of a bar-like part 10. The bar-like part 10 is formed by pressing a metal plate member 21 having a first plate part 22 with a width larger than a thickness, and a second plate part 23 as the crimp part 11 so as to shorten the width of the first plate part 22, and at the same time, increase the thickness. The crimp part 11 is formed without greatly changing the thickness of the metal plate member 21, and thus, the crack is not generated when the crimp part 11 is bend and deformed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
