The machine has a claw-pole rotor (11) comprising pole wheels (22) fastened to a rotor shaft (21). The pole wheels are provided with single-piece claw poles (222) axially distant from a disk edge of a wheel disk (20). The pole wheels are designed as a punching section with a star-shaped arrangement of five supporting fingers, where the punching section is obtained from a sheet metal plate. The claw poles are formed by the fingers, which are bent at a finger root by deep drawing in a right-angle. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing of pole wheels of a claw pole rotor of an electrical machine.
