PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire tread and a tire, which are excellent both in braking properties and in reducing fuel consumption. SOLUTION: The tire has a tire tread which contains a vulcanizable rubber composition comprising an unconjugated cyclopolyene copolymer (A) which comprises 93-70 mol% structural units derived from anα-olefin (A1) and 7-30 mol% structural units derived from an unconjugated cyclopolyene (A2) and has an intrinsic viscosity [η] measured in 135°C decalin of 0.01-20 dl/g, a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 40°C or lower, and an iodonium value of 50-150 and a diene rubber (B) in a weight ratio of the unconjugated cyclopolyene copolymer (A)/the diene rubber (B) of 60/40 to 0.1/99.9.
