PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air compressor capable of preventing drain droplet from an air dryer from being re-mixed in compressed air. SOLUTION: The air compressor provided with the air dryer 10 removing moisture in delivered compressed air is provided with a droplet detection means 13 provided in a downstream side of the air dryer 10, and a control means 14 including a memory part storing a reference value in the downstream side of the air dryer 10 established according to an operation condition of an air compressor main body 1 and an operation part 17 outputting control command when detection value of the droplet detection means 13 and the reference value stored in the memory part 16 are compared and the detection value exceeds the reference value.
