PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intrusion detector with a camera, capable of regulating easily and properly a detection area at low cost to reduce erroneous notification. SOLUTION: An area display tool 6 having a partition diagram 10 for partitioning the detection area into a plurality of areas is attached to a front face of the camera 4; the desired area is regulated to serve as the detection area, based on images of a displayed area image and the displayed partition diagram 10, by displaying the images of the partition diagram 10 and the area image photographed by the camera 4, on a screen of a regulating monitor M, and the detection area is thereby regulated easily and properly at low cost to reduce the erroneous notification.
