<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixed type constant velocity universal joint capable of improving efficiency and carrying out miniaturization without deteriorating operability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the fixed type constant velocity universal joint of an undercut free type, groove bottoms of guide grooves 22, 25 are equipped with arced parts 22b, 25a and straight line parts 22a, 25b. An arced part curvature center O4 of the guide groove 22 of an outer side joint member is disposed in a deeper side than a joint center O, and an arced part curvature center O3 of the guide groove 25 of an inner side joint member is disposed toward an opening side than the joint center O. A wedge angle while an operation angle of the joint at zero degrees is zero degrees. An outer spherical face center O3 of a cage 28 is disposed in an arced part curvature center O2 side of the guide groove 25 of the inner side joint member than the joint center O, and an inner spherical face center O4 of the cage 28 is disposed in an arced part curvature center O1 side of the outer side joint member than the joint center O.
