PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which detects smear components at high speed without changing structure for smear correction and without reducing resolution, and obtains exposure excluding the smear components in a short time. SOLUTION: In a solid-state imaging apparatus for reading two or more fields with different numbers of addition, a smear amount is calculated from imaging signals between different fields.
