PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow melting device for a railcar for melting ice and snow sticking to a railcar body, a casing of the snow melting device for the railcar, and a method for securing a linear heater of the snow melting device for the railcar.SOLUTION: The snow melting device (1) for the railcar has the casing (2), an outer box (3), a closing plate (4), and a tape heater (5). The casing (2) has the first surface (2a) of a railcar body side in a longitudinal direction (Z) of a railcar side, the second surface (2b) closed by the closing plate (4) in an opposite side of the first surface (2a), and a guide groove (24) arranged in the second surface (2b) side and for securing the tape heater (5). The casing (2) is covered with the outer box (3) and the closing plate (4) with the tape heater (5) secured to the guide groove (24). The snow melting device (1) for the railcar thus constituted is secured to the railcar body of the railcar. |
