PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane pump capable of preventing a lubricant from being mixed to an operation fluid at slide-contact of a distal end of a vane with an inner peripheral surface of a pump chamber through the lubricant. SOLUTION: The vane pump is provided with the pump chamber 2; a rotor 3 eccentrically stored in the pump chamber 2; a plurality of vanes 4 provided on the rotor 3 and having a distal end slide-contacted with an inner peripheral surface 2a of the pump chamber 2; an operation chamber 5 surrounded by an inner surface of the pump chamber 2, an outer peripheral surface 3a of the rotor 3 and the vane 4 and varying its volume to large and small sides by rotation/driving of the rotor 3; a suction port 6 for flowing-in an operation fluid to the operation chamber 5 in the volume enlargement process; and a delivery port 7 for discharging the operation fluid from the operation chamber 5 in the volume contraction process. A self-lubrication material constitution part 13 constituted by a self-lubrication material is provided on at least a distal end of the vane 4. A porous part 14 constituted by a porous material capable of retaining a lubricant oozed out from the self-lubrication material constitution part 13 is provided on the inner peripheral surface 2a of the pump chamber 2.
