PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for a container made from heat insulation paper that has heat insulating properties, barrier properties and light shielding properties, and prevents occurrence of wrinkles on a metal foil layer by thermal foaming; and to provide a container made from heat insulation paper.SOLUTION: There are provided a member for a container made from heat insulation paper that includes at least a foamable thermoplastic resin layer, a paper base material, an adhesive layer and a metal foil layer in this order. The adhesive layer contains an adhesive resin having a melting point of 120°C or higher. The adhesive resin contains 99.5-50 mass% of (a1) a non-polar thermoplastic resin and 0.5-50 mass% of (a2) a polar group-containing adhesive resin (total amount of (a1) and (a2) shall be 100 mass%), and a method for producing the same; and a container for heat insulation paper having a body member and/or a bottom member formed of the member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
