<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet rotary electric machine having excellent characteristics, in the permanent magnet rotary electric machine using a permanent magnet for the surface of a rotor. <P>SOLUTION: A permanent magnet formed by binding magnetic powder by an SiO based material is provided to the surface of the rotor. A precursor of SiO<SB>2</SB>can be a binding agent excellent in wettability to a magnetic material, and therefore the ratio of the magnetic material in the magnet can be increased, while reducing the deterioration in the magnetic characteristics as compared with an epoxy resin used as the binding agent, with excellent characteristics. Furthermore, the permanent magnet can be molded into a complex shape, thereby forming a continuous skew. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
