APPARATUS FOR LIFTING DAMPING OF KNOCK-UP PLATE

A rising brake apparatus of a knock-up plate is provided to reduce the rising speed of the knock up plate so that the collision impact between the knock up plate or pieces of paper stacked on the knock up plate and other components such as a paper separating finger is able to be reduced. A stopper unit(300) is installed at the upper portion of a knock up plate(220) and an end thereof is contacted with the knock up plate. The stopper unit includes an elastic member for providing an elastic force toward the direction opposite to the rising direction of the knock up plate so that the sudden rising of the knock up plate is prevented. An end of a stopper member(301) is contacted with the upper surface of the knock up plate. A stopper holder(303) includes a receiving member(304) for receiving the stopper member and is rotated with a rotation shaft(302) as the center. A compression spring(305) is installed at the inside of the receiving member and elastically biases the stopper member toward one direction.
