PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid increase in a load to be applied on a server and a load to be applied on a network between the server and a gateway device until the server acquires data to be targeted.SOLUTION: A relay device has: a relay unit 13 that requests a device 4 to transmit data in response to a data acquisition request from a server 2, and transmits data transmitted from the device with respect to the request to the server 2; and a response determination unit 14 that, when the data specified by the server 2 is not transmitted from the device 4, causes a command creation part 131 of the relay unit 13 to request the device 4 to transmit the data, and will not cause a response creation unit 132 of the relay unit 13 to create a response message for transmitting the acquired data to the server 2 until the data specified by the server 2 is transmitted from the device 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
