PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fraction of a fiber reinforced resin from scattering in the vicinity when the fiber reinforced resin used as an energy absorption material is broken to absorb the energy. SOLUTION: A cylindrical part 7 of a vehicle body front side in a front side member 3 is composed of a hollow carbon fiber reinforced resin. A part of the cylindrical part 7 is inserted in a steel-made hollow cover 5 having the one end fixedly welded to a bracket 1, and fixed with an adhesive. A radiator core support fixing a radiator and the bumper is mounted to the bracket 1. When the vehicle collides, the cylindrical part 7 of the front side member 3 is pushed to the bracket after being slipped from the cover 5, and broken from the end part, and the broken fraction is taken into the cylindrical part 7.
