PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress waste of a recording medium and allow an image indicated by image data stored in a recording device to be visually recognized while suppressing an amount of data transmitted and received between a control device and the recording device.SOLUTION: An image display control section 15a of a host computer 10 specifies a compression method capable of being decompressed by its own with respect to a printer 11, subsequently requests transmission of registered image data 23a stored, decompresses the registered image data 23a upon receiving the registered image data 23a compressed in response to the request and displays an image based on the registered image data 23a after decompression on a display panel 17a of a display section 17. |
