<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent illicit use of a cash card forged by skimming or the like or a stolen cash card by a malicious third party without needing complicated processing. <P>SOLUTION: The security system for a network having an ATM 1 comprises a card 7 holding information including the account number of a user and a cellular phone 3 holding authentication information for specifying the user.
