PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental material which is characterized by having polymerizability and good solubility and has improved storage stability in the presence of water. SOLUTION: A polymerizable composition comprising at least one alkylenediamine-N,N,N',N'-tetraacetic acid-(meth)acrylamide is provided. The alkylenediamine-N,N,N',N'-tetraacetic acid-(meth)acrylamide has especially high affinity for a calcium ion and can form a corresponding salt by forming a complex with the calcium ion. With its high affinity for a calcium ion, the alkylenediamine-N,N,N',N'-tetraacetic acid-(meth)acrylamide can promote its bonding with dental enamel and dentine. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
