PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a content of private information hardly viewed, in stamping for performing stamping operation by stacking portions which are written with the private information or the like. SOLUTION: This stamp has a plurality of characters ST arranged over the printing surface in superposed fashion, and has a void edge formed at the periphery of a part of the characters ST. The printing surface is formed in a way that the void edge ST1 of one of the mutually superposed characters ST appears visually highlighted preferentially in contrast to the other character ST.
