<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rotary cutter for a bush cutter, capable of conducting bush cutting work with small labor, by decreasing cutting resistance of the rotary cutter. <P>SOLUTION: This rotary cutter for the bush cutter is structured so that blades (4, 5) in which scooping surfaces (4a, 5a) are each formed into a circular grooved shape are arranged on a peripheral part of a disklike base metal (2) at predetermined pitches in a circumferential direction, the blades (4, 5) adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction are deviated in a zigzag manner in a transverse direction with respect to the base metal (2), and therefore side cutting edges (4b, 5c) of each of the blades (4, 5) are protruded alternately with each other from one of surfaces of the base metal (2) and the other surface in an outward direction. Further, extents of protrusion of right and left side cutting edges (4b, 4c, 5b, 5c) of each of the blades (4, 5) are made to be approximately equal in a traveling direction thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
