CONNECTOR MOUNTING STRUCTURE AND BRACKET USED FOR IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the mounting of a connector, to improve workability of maintenance and to realize miniaturization. SOLUTION: This bracket 10 is fixed to a support surface of a vehicle body or the like through bracket flanges 11 and has a mounting surface 12 in a body part 13 rising from the bracket flanges 11. The connector 20 is mounted to the mounting surface 12 from the front face. A fitting hole 14 with one end opened for fitting the connector 20 thereto is formed in the mounting surface 12. The connector 20 comprises: a connector body part 24 having a tip part connected to a mating connector and having a base end for a wire harness 23 connected thereto; a connector flange 21 projecting along a surface perpendicular to the connector connection direction on side faces of the connector body part 24; and elastic engagement pieces 22 formed on the side faces on the base end side of the connector body part 24 and engaging with the fitting hole 14 of the bracket 10 in mounting the connector 20 to the bracket 10.
