PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide garbage bag holding clips and a garbage bag installation structure using the clips. SOLUTION: In each of the garbage bag holding clips 10 and 20, a garbage bag 120 is installed in a bottomed cylindrical garbage container 100 by engaging it with the opening edge of the garbage container. The garbage bag holding clips comprise, respectively, head parts 11, 21 put on the end surfaces of the opening edges of the garbage containers when they are engaged with the opening edges of the garbage containers, a pair of flexible holding pieces 12, 13, 22, 23 having pressing projections 12a, 13a, 22a, 23a extending generally parallel to each other from the head parts downward and holding and locking the near-upper edge portions of the garbage containers so disposed as to cover the opening edge of the garbage container between themselves and the opening edges of the garbage containers by sliding them along the inner and outer surfaces of the garbage container, and projections 14, 24 projecting from the head parts between the pair of flexible holding pieces and forming gaps 15, 16, 25, 26 between themselves and the inner surfaces of the flexible holding pieces.
