<p>A self propelled machine for planning road surfaces has a steered support with front and rear wheels and with a transverse mounted engine (5) connected to the planning roller (8) by two belt drives (16, 17) linked by a height adjustable intermediate roller (12), which also serves to set and maintain the belt tension. The intermediate roller is mounted on pivot arms and is tensioned by a servo cylinder and can be additionally connected to an auxiliary drive.</p> |
