<p>A method for realizing synchronization in multiple input multiple output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing system, which includes following steps: constructing preamble/synchronization sequence for each transmitting antenna and transmitting frames generated (110); performing first time synchronization on each receiving antenna according to cyclic prefix information (120); performing time domain frequency shifting estimation of integer and decimal with preamble symbols on each receiving antenna (130); performing uniform gain combination to the frequency shifting estimation value of each receiving antenna, obtaining finally the average frequency shifting estimation value, and performing frequency shifting compensation to the data of each receiving antenna (140); performing second time synchronization with preamble symbols (150); selecting the best point of second time synchronization (160); performing post-synchronization processing by use of the best point of second time synchronization obtained (170).</p>
