PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability when making a user select a proper image format out of a plurality of candidates as an image format of an input image.SOLUTION: An image processor has: storage means which stores the information of regulation values of parameters of a plurality of formats of an image signal; measurement means which measures a parameter of an input image signal; calculation means which compares a measurement value of the parameter of the input image signal and the regulation values of the parameters of the plurality of formats which are stored in the storage means, and calculates similarity with a format of the input image signal about each of the formats which are stored in the storage means; and indication means which indicates the plurality of formats to a user in a form of display based on the similarity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
