<p>A deck lid latch and lock assembly having a latch mechanism and a key operated lock mechanism for operating the latch mechanism mounted, respectively, on inner and outer panels of the deck lid. The inner and outer panels are connected by a bridging panel. The bridging panel and the inner and outer panels form a pocket receiving the latch and lock mechanisms. The latch and lock mechanisms are spaced from one another and coupled by a coupling means.</p> |
