<p>A light-weight and insulating agglomerated prod. comprises expanded PVC scrap fragments (I) and a binder and opt. 50%, based on (I), of wood shavings or cork particles. The binder is e.g. an epoxy, polyurethane, UF or vinyl resin. The prod. has good heat and sound insulating properties, is non flammable, self-extinguishing and does not generate gas. It is suitable e.g. for prodn. of furniture.</p> |
