PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device being capable of securing satisfactory handleability while reliably performing skew correction.SOLUTION: A printer 1 comprises: a manual feeding tray 41 placing a sheet; a feeding roller 15 feeding the sheet from the manual feeding tray by normal rotation; a separation roller 16 nipping and separating the sheet between the feeding roller 15 and the separation roller 16; and a register roller pair 17 being positioned closer to a downstream side than the feeding roller 15 and causing a leading end of the sheet to abut thereagainst. The printer 1 further comprises: a one-way clutch realizing a one-way function allowing the normal rotation of the feeding roller 15 and regulating reverse rotation of the feeding roller 15; and switching means switching on and off of the one-way function of the one-way clutch.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
