PURPOSE:The titled stain having improved adhesivity, not causing release, etc. in its application to dental material of calcium phosphate type, obtained by blending a calcium phosphate having an atomic ratio of Ca/P in a specific range with a specific amount of lithium oxide. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. calcium phosphate having an atomic ratio of calcium to phosphorus of Ca/P in 0.35-1.7 range is blended with 0.1-30pts.wt. lithium oxide, to give low-melting glass of calcium phosphate type. The glass is further blended with 0.01-15pts.wt. one or more oxides selected from Zn, Fe, Mn, W, Ce, Ti, Ni, Co, Cr, and V as a colorant component, and, if necessary, <=10pts. wt. Al2O3 and/or SiO2 as a dye auxiliary, and color tone is finely adjusted. The glass is pulverized, the powder is dispersed into a solvent, applied to a base material of calcium phosphate, heated at a temperature lower than the melting point of the base material and higher than the melting point of stain, melted, and baked.
