PURPOSE:To provide a titled jig having a simple construction which prevents shifting of blade edges by the constitution consisting in matching the space between the front and rear side members of guides fixed on an anvil to the width of a base for a blade and driving a key to the key ways of the right and left side members of the guides and the base for the blade. CONSTITUTION:The base 12 for the blade 1 having the width matched with the space between the front and rear side members 21A, B and 22A, B of the right anf left guides 2A, B of a jig for setting down formed by attaching the setting down blade 1 to the guide 2 fixed on the anvil 3 is imposed on the anvil 3 between the guides 2A and B to control the movement of the blade 1 in the forward and backward direction. On the other hand, the wedge-shaped key 4 is driven into the tapered key ways 24A, B provided to the members 23A, B of the guide 2 and the keyways 14A, B provided to the base 12 for the blade 1 corresponding thereto to prevent the movement of the blade 1 in the right and left directions. The blade 1 is thus thoroughly fixed onto the anvil 3.
