An apparatus useful in receiving an electrical signal from cardiac tissue, said apparatus comprising a catheter probe at one end and a flexible elongate member at the other end, wherein said catheter probe comprises a plurality of receiving poles positioned in a row at a first edge of said probe, said poles positioned equidistant from each other, wherein said catheter probe is from about 6 cm to about 10 cm in length, and from about 3 mm to about 5 mm in width or diameter, and said elongate member is capable of moving through a human blood vessel.
