PURPOSE:To improve straight running performance, braking performance and side slip resistance without affecting durability by furnishing a shoulder block with a particular number of longitudinal grooves in particular positions, and also providing a particular number of sipings in particular positions. CONSTITUTION:In a shoulder block of a tire is provided a group of longitudinal sub-grooves consisting of 2-4 sub-grooves, including: an inner longitudinal sub- groove G3 which is provided in an area M between an outer point P located 0.015 time of a tread width TW away from an tread edge E to the tire equator side and an inner point Q located 0.135 time of the tread width TW away from the tread edge E, and which extends in the circumferential direction of the tire and is the nearest to the equator of the tire; and an outer longitudinal sub-groove G4 which is the nearest to the tread edge. Furthermore, 1-3 sipings S extending between a longitudinal shoulder groove G1 and the inner longitudinal sub-groove G3 are provided in the direction connecting the longitudinal shoulder groove 1 and the inner longitudinal sub-groove G3. |
